Aiko is a Japanese artist based in Brooklyn, New York. At an early age, she began creating art in Tokyo before moving to New York in the mid 90’s. Acclaimed in the contemporary art world and international street art, Aiko continues to create work in both the studio and public spaces. Her large-scale artworks unite Eastern and Western cultures by combining American art styles with Japanese aesthetics, while telling stories around the common language of love.
